Job objective
As an Inside Sales Officer at Dynaf, you are the driving force behind our direct sales efforts. Your role is vital, interacting with customers through telephone, email, online channels, and face-to-face encounters at the counter. In our showroom, your welcoming smile and expert guidance set the tone for the outstanding customer service we’re known for.
Unlike the Sales Manager, your focus is on office support and customer assistance. You’re adept at both proactive and reactive communication with leads, ensuring that every interaction is logged into our AFAS CRM system. With a talent for organization, you’re the backbone of our administrative and customer-oriented activities.
In the realm of Inside Sales, you’re a master of lead management. Whether independently or alongside the Sales Manager, you pursue sales opportunities with zeal, keeping the sales pipeline in AFAS forecasting up-to-date. You are the collaborative link with our marketing department, ensuring Dynaf’s presence is strong and searchable across all channels. In your versatile role, you support all branches, with no barriers in product/service range, market segment, customer journey stage, or geographical location.

- Embrace each showroom visitor, providing exceptional, professional advice and leading them through the sales journey without pressure.
- Uphold the integrity of showroom communication, ensuring products are priced accurately and promotional materials are displayed effectively.
- Maintain a pristine business environment both within and around the office and showroom.
- Meet and strive to exceed sales targets, engaging purposefully with KPIs.
- Handle inquiries diligently, conducting thorough assessments and preparing proposals.
- Analyze market trends and relay insights to the Sales Manager.
- Forge, nurture, and broaden customer relationships.
- Deliver comprehensive product, service, and condition advice to customers.
- Coordinate with other Dynaf departments to actualize sales.
- Calculate accurate quotations for generators, UPS, and solar solutions, and prepare service contracts.
- Actively seek out new business markets and set up meetings for the Sales Manager.
- Maintain and optimize accurate customer records in AFAS CRM.
- Collaborate on sales promotions with the Sales Manager and Marketing team.
- Address customer complaints in partnership with the Sales & Service Manager.
- Conduct follow-ups post-project completion to gather references, in collaboration with the Sales Manager.
- Prepare and track invoices for sales projects.
Communication
Internal: Frequent collaboration with the Sales Manager to achieve corporate objectives, regular strategizing with the Chief Commercial Officer, and close ties with the Marketing Department. Additionally, you’ll interface with Logistics, Purchasing, and Finance teams.
External: Engage with customers, visitors, and suppliers as the face and voice of Dynaf.
Job requirements
- MBO+/Bachelor’s degree in Commerce or Marketing.
- A robust affinity for technology and a keenness to rapidly assimilate product knowledge to serve as an effective brand ambassador.
- A commercial dynamo with a customer-oriented approach and a knack for sealing the deal.
