Curaçao – Building Depot Zeelandia – 2012

The project

Building Depot is a large retail company that sells products ranging from furniture to toys to electrical appliances. The Building Depot complex has to house lots of items and is therefore designed as a cube warehouse with a large flat empty roof on top of it.  This roof is ideal for the placement of solar PV panels which can be used to power all of the building’s energy demand during the day.
