Curaçao – CORE Datacenter

The CORE datacenter has the inbuilt redundancy needed to assure the high availability that is so critical to businesses today. To ensure this availability CORE Datacenter has generators and UPS system of Dynaf. This ensures 24/7 power supply. They have 2 generators of 132 kVA and 1 Galaxy UPS of 40 kVA and 1 Symmetra UPS of 100 kVA. The second UPS acts as an n+1 as a backup in case of failure.

Curaçao – Esperamos supermarket – 2020

The project

The Esperamos supermarket is one of the largest supermarkets in Curaçao and is also known as ‘Your local Supermarket’. The supermarket has environmentally friendly facilities such as vegan friendly and meat friendly products. Moreover the supermarket has realized a so called ‘green area’, which is an electric charging station also provided by Dynaf. This makes it possible for people to charge their cars during their visit. To take the next step in sustainability, the supermarket has decided to use solar panels to provide the supermarket with energy. Dynaf has designed a Solar PV system containing an installed capacity of 325 kWp.

Curaçao – E-Commercepark

E-Commerce Park is located in Curaçao, giving follow up to the public-private initiative to make Curaçao one of the E-Commerce centers of the region. E-Commercepark provides rent out service space and guarantee 100% electricity, cooling and internet. For complete assurance and superior performance, collocated servers are protected within state-of-the- art Internet Data Center with its strictly regulated power supply. For this strictly regulated power supply Dynaf has supplied 6 generators and 9 UPS systems to E-Commercepark. They always use n+1 as a backup. This means that they always have a backup for the generators and UPS in case of failure.

The Corendon Mangrove Beach Resort will become a new 5-star luxury Ultra all- inclusive resort in Curaçao. The complex will house a large range of leisure facilities such as swimming pools, restaurants, bars an Aquapark and conference rooms, all of which are energy consuming. Multiple generators have been installed that serve as an emergency power supply.

Sint Maarten – Medical Center (2020)

The project

The V400U is the first emergency power supply for the main building. Dynaf also supplied the ATS and has adapted the circuits to be able to use the original older generator as a second emergency power supply for the critical load of the hospital.
The J80U is the emergency power supply of the Care Complex of the Sint Maarten Medical Center.

Due to the Covid-19 crisis, the medical center of Sint Maarten had to be expanded. It is an honor that Dynaf got the opportunity to play a role in the fight against Covid-19. The J30U has recently been placed at the Covid-19 capacity expansion of the Sint Maarten Medical Center (Extended Care Facility), that served as an emergency power supply.
